North Carolina couple Herbert and Zelmyra Fisher:
Married a record 85 years.

Fourteen relationship questions tweeted to the pair by February 12th will be answered back on Valentine's Day.

North Carolina centenarians, Herbert and Zelmyra Fisher hold the record for the longest-lasting marriage among living couples — They were married in 1924. That means their seven-year itch came at the height of The Great Depression, and they've managed to love, honor and cherish each other through the trials of every decade since.

Imagine that.

I bet they don't fret about who left the cap off the toothpaste, since their partnership has survived bigger things — just thinking of all the social changes over the years brings to mind some of the reasons couples drift apart. And what about the personal changes these individuals have undoubtedly experienced? Eighty-five years of togetherness can't be possible if you sweat the small stuff.

One of the cultural changes they've seen together is the rise of the Internet. So just in time for Valentine's Day a UK website called blinkbox has asked them to get up on Twitter.

It's everlasting love 2.0!

Herbert and Zelmyra were past retirement age by the time fax machines were common in workplaces, but they're about to be new media technology experts. The world is invited to tweet them relationship questions, and fourteen will be selected and answered.

What would you ask them about how to make love endure? You can send your profound or silly questions to America's Tweethearts at @longestmarried.

I think this is brilliant, and I can't wait to see what they say. Questions are accepted through the 12th to be answered on Valentine's Day.
