Beer Me, Mr. President

OK, OK, OK... I got one for you.

A COP, a PROFESSOR and THE PRESIDENT walk into a bar. Bartender looks up and says, "Is this some kind of joke?"

I know.

Not funny.

I would really like to believe that tomorrow's so-called "Beer Summit" will solve some big problems, but to me, that glass is half empty. I'm pretty sure the event is more about public relations than race relations, and a photo-op of the three having a drink is not likely to fix either.

So they might as well have some fun, and make it a real party. If they're going to bond, it's going to take more than one beer for crying out loud. If I were invited, I would suggest a good old college drinking game to lift the mood.

Something deliciously surreal like... A$$hole.

Do you know this game?

It's played with cards, and the first hand determines rank. First person out of cards gets to be President, which means he or she can make others drink. Last person has to be the A$$hole — this person gets stuck dealing the cards and serving the drinks.

I'll state for the record that I don't want anyone else to be president. Unless it's a part of some silly, ironic game. But come on — this whole brouhaha boils down to a media-fueled debate over which guy in this situation behaved like more of an ass. Maybe they'll laugh and let the cards sort it out so we can get this unfortunate situation behind us and focus attention on more imminently critical things.

OK- I'd love to see this one. But, the fallout would be even worse if Gates ended up a**hole. How about a juicy game of "I Never". We already know an awful lot about Obamas colorful past since he wrote a book about it, but it would be fun to see how things have changed since then.

Brilliant!! I've never walked away from a game of "I Never" without being completely honest and humbled. (I just took a sip of coffee).
